SAN FRANCISCO – Diana Dykstra, CEO of San Francisco Fire CU, has agreed to shave her head as part of a fundraiser for the California’s Children’s Hospital – providing she is able to raise $10,000 from friends and family first.

Long an active supporter of Credit Unions for Kids, Dykstra said the slow pace of fundraising toward the $200,000 goal for the hospital led her to make this hair-raising challenge.
If the $10,000 is raised, Dykstra said she will allow her head to be shaved the week of March 15.
In addition – should the headshaving funds goal be met – Dykstra is offering to auction the right to choose the wig she will wear at the March 26 Credit Unions for Kids wine auction.
