CFE FCU’s Debit Card Program Generates $108,000 For Local Schools

LAKE MARY, Fla. CFE FCU’s affinity debit card program, which donates funds to schools based on card usage, raised $108,300 for Orange, Seminole, and Osceola county school districts last year.

Since the inception of the MyCFE4Schools program four years ago, the former Central Florida Educators credit union has donated a total of $270,300 to local schools.

The MyCFE4Schools partnership allows CFE members to select a custom debit card that supports the school district of their choice. When cardholders use the debit card for signature-based transactions, CFE sets aside funds in a separate account for donation to the districts based on card usage for the year.
