ATLANTA – Electronic payments processor CheckFree Corp. announced it has completed its acquisition of Upstream Technologies LLC, the companies third corporate deal so far this year. Upstream is a Boston-based provider of advanced investment decision support and trade order management tools. The total cost of the deal was $28 million in cash. Earlier this year, CheckFree completed deals for Carreker Corp. and Corrillian Corp.
