Chetco FCU’s Stan Baron Ends 40-Year CU Career

HARBOR, Ore. – Chetco FCU said its longtime president and CEO Stan Baron is retiring May 1, after 40 years in the credit union movement.

Baron, who took the helm of the credit union in June 2000, built it from $100 million in assets to $370 million.

The credit union said Executive Vice President/General Counsel Peter Spratt will serve as interim CEO until a permanent successor is hired.
