BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Chevron Valley CU said yesterday it signed with U.S. Central FCU’s Corporate Network eCom to provide it with mobile banking and payments services through eCom’s recently released MobileMember solution.
MobileMember is a downloadable application residing on members’ phone and provides real-time, around-the-clock access to account information. In addition to the ability to view account balances and transfer funds, Chevron Valley members will have a full range of bill payment capabilities at their disposal, including scheduling regular or expedited payments, managing scheduled payments and viewing payment history -- all from their mobile devices.
Software on the handset allows Chevron Valley's members to interact with MobileMember without airtime-intensive page loads, providing speed. eCom intends to support WAP, SMS (text messaging) and iPhone applications in the next 60 days.
