Chief Financial Officer At Alps FCU Guilty Of $187,000 Embezzlement

ANCHORAGE, Alaska – The former Chief Financial Officer at Alps FCU last week pleaded guilty to stealing $187,348 from the credit union based in Sitka.

Vicki Weidenhoff, 46, who has moved to Chatsworth, Calif., took funds from the credit union's general ledger accounts and deposited the money into her personal account and into the accounts of others, according to federal prosecutors.

She is scheduled for sentencing Dec. 13.
