BIDDEFORD, Me. - (08/13/04) -- Ocean Communities FCU said it hasbegun a series of events aimed at encouraging reading appreciationamong children. The 'Marty Moose Reading Is Fun Program,' named forthe credit union's mascot, will kick off August 25 at the creditunion's Sanford branch, where State Rep. Jonathan Courtney will bethe first guest reader. Free refreshments will be served and eachchild will receive a free book and bookmark. The credit union plansto host reading hours like this one at its four branches throughoutthe year.
