EURKEA, Calif. – Coast Central CU has awarded four community grants totaling $50,000 to local organizations under its Community Investment Program.

The funds went to: Agency on Aging, to help fund services for seniors and those with physical disabilities ($10,000); Lowden Aquatic Park Project, to build a community pool in Weaverville ($10,000); Community Assistance Network in Del Norte County, to provide dental health materials to 3,000 children ($5,000); and, $25,000 to the Eureka Skate Park, to be located in Cooper Gulch Community Park.
The credit union plans to award another $50,000 in grants later this year.
