EUREKA, Calif. – Coast Central CU announced yesterday it has made $50,000 in comity grants to four community organizations in the second round of this year’s Community Investment Program.
The funds were awarded to: the Friends of the McKinleyville Library to add a computer center to the library ($25,000); Redwood Community Action Agency to fund its street outreach program ($10,000); Community Health Alliance of Humboldt/Del Norte to provide medical and dental coverage for local children ($10,000); and American National Red Cross for disaster planning ($5,000).
Coast Central’s Community Investment Program awards $100,000 annually to assist community organizations throughout Humboldt, Del Norte and Trinity counties.
