EUREKA, Calif. – Coast Central CU has awarded five community grants totaling $50,000 as part of its annual Community Investment Program.
The grants went to: Arcata House to support construction of a second unit at its Janes Road site ($6,326); Northern California Community Blood Bank ($10,000); Humboldt Literacy Project ($10,000); St. Vincent de Paul ($15,629); and, Greater Rural Rescue Society in Hoopa to build a permanent accommodation for dogs and cats ($8,055).
The Coast Central Community Investment Program commits $100,000 each year to assist community organizations throughout Humboldt, Del Norte and Trinity counties.
