Commodore Perry FCU Offers Downtown Improvement Loans

OAK HARBOR, Ohio – Commodore Perry FCU and a local bank will provide low-interest loans to help improve the downtown area.

The two lenders are providing $50,000 to improve the facades of downtown buildings by painting, siding, window replacement and other improvements. The funds not meant for major infrastructure improvements, such as roofs or interior remodeling.

Interest rates will vary depending on the size, term and purpose of the loan. The terms can be for up to 60 months, although 24 to 48 months is preferred.
