CommonWealth One FCU Adds Intuit’s FinanceWorks

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – CommonWealth One FCU has implemented FinanceWorks, a financial management solution from Intuit Financial Services, to provide consumers a way to budget, gain control over their spending and save more during these tough economic times.

FinanceWorks is offered to CommonWealth One members through its secure, online banking portal, Online Branch.

With FinanceWorks, the credit union said its members will be able to budget their financial goals, as well as track finances, pay bills in one place and receive a comprehensive overview of their entire financial picture. FinanceWorks shows trends and financial data, enabling members to make better financial choices as they see the direct outcome of their spending choices. E-mail alerts can be customized by members to allow for greater financial control.

New members will be able to access this tool by opening a share account at any of its branches within the metro Washington, DC and Harrisonburg regional areas.

FinanceWorks is powered by Quicken. Intuit said it gives consumers greater visibility and control over their spending across more than 18,000 financial institutions and creditors, and users can manage and pay all their upcoming bills, regardless of how they are paid, receive a variety of alerts about their financial status via e-mail, and track their net worth. All of this is available through one secure log-in to the $295 million credit union’s online banking website.
