RIVERSIDE, Calif.-Riverside County's Credit Union awarded more than $5,000 in student scholarship money to Danielle Issa, Gabriel Murillo, Johnny Chen Yang, Daniel Hall, Jesse Paulos, Xiao-wen Qi, Natalie Guido Estrada, Shaneka Woods, Juliana Gonzalez, and Ryan Romero.

Financial 21 CCU Receives Award

EL CAJON, Calif.-Financial 21 Community Credit Union received a Cajon Valley Education Association Volunteer Award for its support of Bostonia Elementary School. The credit union contributed books to its library, participated in volunteer reading programs, and hosted a Missing Children's Awareness Day.

In additional news, Financial 21 Community CU raised $9,076 for Children's Hospital during the Miracle Month campaign. In addition to selling balloons, the credit union developed special events to promote the fundraiser. A tour of Children's Hospital was conducted for Financial 21 staff to enable them to share with members the importance of supporting the fundraiser.

MWFCU Supports SafeHouse Shelter

ANN ARBOR, Mich.-MidWest Financial Credit Union held a staff dinner and auction and raised $1,000 for SafeHouse, a domestic abuse shelter.

Ohio CU Chapter Names WInners

TOLEDO, Ohio-The Northwest Chapter of the Ohio Credit Union League announced its scholarship winners during credit union night at the Toledo Mud Hens baseball game. The scholarship winners are Maurice Thompson, Jessica

Tantardini, and Stephanie Gardyza.

CCUF Raises $7,000 For Cancer

SUTTON, Mass.-Central Credit Union Fund held a golf tournament and raised $7,000 for the Jimmy Fund, which supports the fight against cancer at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. More than 100 golfers participated in the fundraising event.
