LENEXA, Kan. CommunityAmerica CU has teamed with local non-profit Special Needs Planning Center to offer financial planning services that will help members with disabilities and other special needs make financial plans through CUSO Financial Services LP.
The Special Needs Planning Center is dedicated to assisting families in coordinating their legal and financial planning, with the intent of preserving government benefits such as Social Security and ensuring the continuity of quality care for their loved ones.
“CommunityAmerica’s mission aligns very nicely with the Center’s purpose and goals and we will work to provide even more families with special needs a broader array of resources and services, as well as access to our convenient branch locations and other competitive banking services and products,” said Mike Haggerty, vice president financial planning services for the $1.8-billion credit union.
