PONTIAC, Mich. – Affinity Group CU said yesterday it hired Glenda West, a vice president of branch operations at Genisys CU, as president and CEO of the $140 million credit union conglomerate.
Since 2007, Affinity Group has united four separate credit unions into one “group” – Crestwood Community CU, Municipal & Health Services FCU, WySouth FCU and Kensington Valley Community CU – to share resources, build an expanded branch and ATM network, and offer members a suite of financial products. It also owns pieces of four CUSOs: CU* Answers, Mortgage Center, LLC, Xtend, LLC, and CU Partner Solutions.
West also was CEO of DuPont CU for eight years and worked her way up from the credit union teller lines.
