NORTH HAVEN, Conn. – Connex CU said its Connex Insurance Services CUSO has acquired CPM Insurance Services, a Cheshire, Conn., provider of personal and business insurance products.
“The new partnership is a part of the Connex’s strategic process of expanding services into property and casualty insurance,” said John Edwards, president of the $375-million credit union, formerly New Haven Telephone Employees CU.
The Connex CUSO was formed in 2010.
The newest version of the House housing bill would make a ban on institutional investors owning some homes less harsh than the Senate version by removing a seven year mandate on selling build-to-rent homes.
