FALLS CHURCH, Va. – Constellation FCU was granted one of the broadest TIP charters – for tradewide, industrywide or professionwide – to cover almost 500,000 federal government employees or retirees in the Washington metropolitan area.

The TIP charter for the $150 million credit union is similar to one granted IR FCU in the Washington suburb of Lanham, Md., in 2005.
NCUA also granted Kaiperm North Bay FCU in Vallejo, Calif., a TIP charter that will enable the $30 million credit union to serve the healthcare industry in five California counties: Napa, Sonoma, Marin, Contra Costa and Yolo.
