WALLINGFORD, Ct. - (10/28/04) -- Constitution Corporate CU said ithas launched a new online system that will allow individual creditunion members to view images of their cleared checks online fromtheir own home computer. The system, called mycheckimages.com, wasintroduced in time for Thursday's enactment of Check 21, the newlaw that treats electronic checks as legal tender. The system islinked to a credit union's current Web site, but the existence ofan online home-banking package is not necessary. Users can sorttheir images by processing date, check number or amount. Thecorporate has tested the system with several of its credit unionsand their members.
