JACKSON, Mich. – CP FCU will award a foreclosed home tomorrow during a noon ceremony at its headquarters, as part of its “Wish Upon A Home” giveaway.
The family will receive the keys to a 1,780-square-foot home in Jackson, which includes four bedrooms, hardwood floors, a patio and a fenced-in yard.
The home will be awarded under an agreement that will require the resident to live in the home for five years and own the home free after that.
Applicants had to meet certain income requirements, live in Jackson County and be in need of adequate, affordable housing.
A panel of community volunteers performed in-home interviews with the four finalists. The winner has been chosen from those four but not find out until the event.
