Credit Unions, Companies That Have Faced Litigation

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.-Credit unions far and wide and of all asset sizes have found themselves tangled in patent infringement lawsuits that allege the defendant CU has not paid a licensing fee in order to use certain technologies.

Among the CUs that have found themselves targeted in such litigation are Addison Avenue FCU, Anheuser-Busch Employees CU, Neighbors CU, CU 1 of Anchorage, Inland Valley FCU, Cal Poly FCU, South Bay CU, 1st Commonwealth Central CU, My CU, Media City Community CU, 1st Valley CU, Suncoast Schools, San Jose CU, State Farm CU, Texans CU, New England Federal CU, Members First CU, Heritage Family CU and Citizens Equity First CU.

Credit unions are hardly alone. Vendors to CUs that have also been targeted include PSCU Financial Services, The Members Group, Harland Clarke, JHA Payment Processing Solutions, part of Jack Henry & Associates, along with others.
