DES MOINES, Iowa — The California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues recognized payments processor The Members Group as their Supplier of the Year for "creative support" of the leagues' advocacy efforts.
TMG was chosen from more than 50 vendors who support credit unions in the two states. Before the leagues’ recent annual meeting in San Francisco, TMG asked what it could do to lend support creatively. Its solution was to act as the financial sponsor of the annual meeting's Political Action Committee Contributors Reception.
The leagues said their advocacy effort helps brings the voice of credit unions to federal and state regulators.
"Each of us at TMG understands the important role credit unions play in the lives of millions," said Chris Gunnare, TMG's senior vice president of growth, in a statement. "The sustainability of the movement depends on strong advocacy and involvement from every corner of the industry. We're proud to help amplify the voices of many who depend on credit unions for a healthy financial future."
