SHAWANO, Wis. A man who allegedly robbed a CoVantage CU branch Monday, after a failed holdup at a local check cashing outlet, was quickly captured.
Workers at a Cash Tyme Store called police around 3:30 p.m. They said a man demanded all of their money. When they refused, the man left.
Moments later, workers at the CoVantage Credit Union, just down the street, called police and said a man of the same description held them up and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect was quickly located and taken into custody without incident, police said.
All the cash taken from the credit union was recovered. The suspect did not show a weapon or threaten anyone in either incident.
