Twin County Credit Union has changed its name to TwinStar Credit Union.
The CU, which spent two years coming up with a new name, selected TwinStar because it is shorter, more memorable and easier to pronounce, according to President Marshall Ellison.
Formed in 1938, the credit union started as the Thurston County Teachers Credit Union, followed by Twin County and now TwinStar.
