CUDL To Again Have Presence At NADA Show

CU Direct Corp., which administers the Credit Union Direct Lending (CUDL) program, will once again bring together credit unions at the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Convention Feb. 11-14 in Orlando. This is the third year CU Direct has sought to raise the credit union profile before auto dealers; in 2005, it brought together 31 credit unions. The NADA convention draws approximately 30,000 attendees, or one-third of all U.S. auto dealerships.

"It's a great opportunity for credit unions to meet face to face with dealers; to better understand the dealers' needs, motivations and goals. This in turn helps us to be more successful in our indirect lending efforts," says David Purcell, Vice President of Lending, for Vacaville, Calif.-based Travis Credit Union.

As in the previous two years, CU Direct will have a two-story booth that offers meeting areas, where credit unions will be able to meet and network with dealers. CU Direct will also be hosting a reception during NADA at the Disney Contemporary Resort in Orlando on Sunday, Feb. 3.
