CUES Inducts Seven Into Hall of Fame

LAS VEGAS-The Credit Union Executive Society (CUES) inducted seven people into its Hall of Fame during its CEO Network here. All were recognized for their "significant contributions" to CUES and credit unions.

Recognized were: Bert Hash, Jr., president/CEO of Municipal Employees CU of Baltimore, for his service on the Maryland & District of Columbia CU Association and Foundation; Bob Hoel, former executive director of the Filene Research Institute, for his work at numerous CU organizations and as a board member at Great Wisconsin CU; Carol Humenick, SVP with Citadel FCU in Thorndale, Penn., CUES' immediate past chairman and a 30-year CU veteran active in CUES Delaware Valley Council, various youth involvement and community groups; Judy Hurst, former VP-CU Relations at WESCOM CU, Pasadena, Calif., a former CUES board member and member of CUES Chairman's Club; Catherine Robertson, former CEO of Gimli Credit Union in Manitoba, Canada, a former CUES board member and member of CUES Chairman's Club; Kim Withers, president of Meridian Trust FCU, former winner of CUES Outstanding Executive and board member at Suncorp Corporate and the Wyoming CU Association, and Dave Weichhand, the former president of United FCU who passed away in 2006 and who was recognized for his service to CUES, for being a member of CUES Chairman's Club, and his support of the United Way fund-raising programs.
