Processing Content

The CUES 2009 Staffing Manual for Credit Unions, written by Dr. Carl Fredrickson, utilizes data from close to 100 credit unions to analyze significant staffing trends, as well as provides crucial staffing statistics that credit unions can use to benchmark their staffing investments.

The manual focuses on branching and staffing, supervisory span of control, turnover, job creation, staff size and productivity, training budgets and more, with worksheets for determining where to add staff and where to save money.

The second guide, CUES Complete Guide to Credit Union Facilities, was written by Paul Seibert, CMC, principal and vice president of financial services, EHS Design, Seattle, and includes essential information for overall credit union health, including strategic growth planning, site acquisition, construction delivery methods, and strategies for going green.

Additionally, the manual includes survey results from nearly 120 credit union managers, detailing the fact that 95% of respondents are planning to add at least one branch per year for the next five years.
