CUNA Mutual Group has formed a 41-person Credit Union Advisory Panel it says will advise the company "on issues important to credit unions and help direct the company in designing and delivering high-quality solutions to the marketplace." The Credit Union Advisory Panel is an expansion of CUNA Mutual's 40-year-old Owners Advisory Council. "The realignment of CUNA Mutual's OAC will also include five additional panels that align with the company's business divisions, or 'Solution Groups'-Lending, Members, Protection, Employee and Financial," CUNA Mutual said. Those panels are currently being formed.
"The Advisory Panel includes credit union leaders from a cross-section of credit unions in the U.S. This group will provide valuable early feedback that will help CUNA Mutual bring solutions to the marketplace that will better meet credit unions' needs," said Jim Gowan, chief officer, sales and marketing. "This amplified voice of our customer is essential and instrumental in setting and executing our corporate strategy and priorities."
