AUGUSTA, Ga. - (08/27/04)-- The $50-million Augusta Metro FCU hasbeen approved by NCUA to serve everyone who lives, works, worshipsor attends school in, businesses and other legal entities locatedin Columbia, Richmond, Burke and McDuffie Counties, Georgia as wellas Aiken and Edgefield Counties, South Carolina. In Seattle,meanwhile, Evergreen Postal Employees Credit Union has expanded itsfield of membership to anyone living or working in WashingtonState. With the expansion it is also changing its name to Community1st Credit Union, and will use the new advertising tagline,"Putting your banking needs first."
