NEW YORK – cuStudentLoans has launched a series of what it is calling entertaining, musical videos of “hip” puppets rapping about student loan issues and how credit unions can help.

Entitled “SqueakyJams,” the video series (five total, so far) feature Business Barry (laid-back orientation leader – a bear) and Squeaky (Barry’s hip, musical sidekick – a squirrel) rapping/teaching new hire orientation attendees (more puppets) about finance – credit unions and student lending in particular.

The CUSO said it created the videos to educate 22- to 28-year-old students on the benefits of credit unions, along with their role in student lending – while answering some timely lending questions.

The 1-2 minute videos launched March 12. YouTube link: http://www.youtube.com/user/SqueakyJams.
