Cyprus CU Names New CEO After Big Losses

WEST JORDAN, Utah, Cyprus CU, which reported one of the largest losses last year, announced it has promoted Todd Adamson, executive vice president, to be its new president and CEO.

The $555 million credit union had a $5.7 million loss for the fourth quarter, and a $10.2 million loss for 2008.

Adamson will succeed Dale Catten and CEO.

 

Adamson has worked for the credit union for more than 11 years. Before his appointment as CEO he served as executive vice president. In this position Adamson oversaw many departments of the credit union, including marketing, collections, auditing, information technology, business services, human resources, and training.
