FAIRBORN, Ohio—Matthew Davidson, well known to many for his efforts to lead the recapitalization of the former Wescorp, has returned to his home state to take over as CFO at Wright-Patt Credit Union.
Davidson had been EVP with Kern Schools FCU in Bakersfield, Calif. Prior to relocating to California, where Superintendent of Credit Unions with the Ohio Department of Commerce.
He has also held positions with NCUA and the California Department of Financial Institutions. While at Kern Schools, Davidson led what was ultimately an unsuccessful effort to recapitalize and recharter the remnants of Western Corporate FCU, which was eventually acquired by Catalyst Corporate.
