DETROIT, Mich. – Detroit Metropolitan CU has picked up a branch in nearby Clawson with the merger of one-time $34 million Clawson Community CU.
Clawson Community reported an $85,000 net for the first three quarters of 2012, after losses for each of the past three years, as its assets have slid to $24 million.
Clawson Community single branch at 625 N. Main in Clawson will remain open and serve as a strategic Oakland County location for Detroit Metro. The branch will be known as Clawson Financial, a branch of Detroit Metropolitan CU.
Detroit Metro has $452 million in assets.
All Clawson Community employees have been offered and accepted positions in Detroit Metro.
