CAROL STREAM, Ill.-Discover Card reported its Cashback Bonus program is now providing unlimited cash rewards with every purchase.
The company earlier released survey data indicating 82% of consumers prefer cash rewards over any other type of rewards. Key features of Discover Card's Cashback Bonus program include:
* 5% cashback bonus for purchases in multiple categories throughout the year
* No service fee on rewards redemption of any type or any channel
* Redemption starts at $20
* The only card that allows members to increase the value of their rewards through Partner gift cards and e-certificates
* Statement credits can be used to pay down a balance-no purchase necessary
* Rewards can be donated to charity
Discover has long been a participant in credit card rewards programs, but the credit card company has found getting past the existing relationships between credit unions and Visa and/or MasterCard has been challenging.
