Ditchcreek was a 17-year veteran of the credit union, including the last 15 years as CEO. He became well known in the South Bend market for starring in credit union commercials that one local media outlet said were “zany.”

During his tenure as CEO Ditchcreek oversaw growth to $427-million in assets from $120-million. A search for Ditchcreek’s replacement is expected to begin next week; VP-operations Rick Burden has been named interim CEO.
