BEAVERTON, Ore. — Database Marketing Agency Corporation, a provider of business intelligence and smart data analytics technology for the financial industry, on Thursday said it is combining operations with Baker Hill, a provider of relationship management, credit-origination and risk-management solutions.
DMA is a portfolio company of The Riverside Company. Baker Hill, which is based in Carmel, Ind., is a recent acquisition of The Riverside Company.
The resulting organization will be led by Naseer Nasim, DMA's president and CEO. The acquisition is expected to be complete by the beginning of the fourth quarter of 2015. The company will maintain offices in both Carmel, Ind. and Beaverton, Ore.
The two companies said in a press release their combination, "creates opportunities to leverage the complementary fit" between DMA's business intelligence and Baker Hill's lending platform and risk analysis capabilities "to create a distinct competitive advantage for progressive financial institutions."
"Today's financial institutions face demographic, regulatory and competitive pressures that drive the need for sophisticated technologies, services and solutions that help them successfully navigate shifting demands. The two companies said they have "significant potential for growth." Together they serve more than 600 financial institutions in the U.S.
