Dollar Associates, LLC, the consulting firm created by former NCUA Chairman Dennis Dollar, said it is opening a Birmingham office where the operation will be based. The firm, which includes Dollar's long-time aide Kirk Cuevas, will maintain its Alexandria, Va., office, but both Dollar and Cuevas are moving to Birmingham with their families. Both Dollar and Cuevas are from Mississippi.
The credit union consultancy said it plans to bring on additional associates in the next few months.
Dollar's firm provides assistance to credit unions, associations and vendors in regulatory compliance, field of membership, governmental relations, product development, sales and marketing training and strategic planning.
