COLUMBIA, Md. - Former NCUA Chairman Dennis Dollar will share his perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing America’s credit unions at this year’s Maryland & District of Columbia Credit Union Association’s annual meeting and convention. As a former regulator, legislator and credit union CEO, Dollar is expected to offer a vision of where credit unions could be in the 2020 marketplace, while also challenging the audience with the difficult choices and decisions necessary to achieve that vision. The theme for this year’s annual meeting from June 11–14, is “Credit Unions in Action…Opportunities & Obligations.”
In other news, the annual official awards package has been mailed to all MDDCCUA affiliates. Each year MDDCCUA honors affiliated credit unions that have excelled in their marketing, outreach and youth financial literacy efforts, as well as an outstanding volunteer and professional.
All entries and fees are due to the MDDCCUA by March 31. Award winners will be notified and invited to the Annual Awards Luncheon in May.
