INDIANAPOLIS – Double 11 CU has rolled out a new rewards program that offers members charitable donations, free iTunes downloads and other incentives for their free checking and savings accounts.
Known as Kasasa, the program offers high-interest checking and savings accounts, and refunds on ATM fees that are automatically deposited into the accounts.
The $35 million credit union is introducing the program with a series of high-profile ads in the Indianapolis area that ask, "Do you Kasasa?"
To be eligible for the Kasasa account benefits, members need to meet monthly qualifications, including receiving an eStatement, accessing online banking, using a debit card and making an electronic transaction. If a member does not meet the qualifications in a given month, the credit union will alert the individual, who will be eligible the following month for the benefits.
Double 11 CU was chartered in 1967 to serve employees of the Ford manufacturing plant in Indianapolis and now serves several select groups and local communities. The ads feature America’s top slam poets riffing lyrical threads around the theme of "Do you Kasasa?"
