Steven Dagli admitted he skimmed cash in amounts ranging from $1,000 to $3,000 from ATMs serviced by his employer, Security Armored Car Service of Hawaii. The machines are owned by Hickam FCU and are located in Pearlridge Center, Mililani and Hickam Air Force Base.

The scheme was detected in 2011 when the armored car company conducted an audit after one of the ATMs ran out of cash when it should not have.

The company paid back the credit union for the stolen cash and was reimbursed for the theft by its insurer, Lloyds of London.
