Endpoint Endorses Check ClearingRules

OKLAHOMA CITY - (03/29/05)–Metavante Corp. Monday announcedthat The Endpoint Exchange Network has endorsed and will adopt thecheck image exchange rules established by the Electronic CheckClearing House Organization (ECCHO). The rules facilitate thetransition to a more efficient check payment system and everydepository institution is eligible for membership in ECCHO,Metavante said, noting that ECCHO is recognized as the nationalprovider of clearing house rules for electronic check presentmentand check image exchange by leading financial services tradeassociations, clearing houses, and data processors. More than 4,000Endpoint Exchange Network member institutions will be eligible toexchange checks under the ECCHO rule set in accordance with thesponsorship agreement.
