IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. – A man who allegedly robbed ESL FCU Thursday, then carjacked a getaway car across the street, was arrested later in the day in nearby Rochester, after he stole a second car.

Gary Beshures allegedly threatened to use a gun when he robbed the ESL FCU branch, then ran out of the building to a carwash across the street and threatened a woman before making off with her car. He is believed to have abandoned the damaged car and stolen a second vehicle, according to police.
The suspect was being held over the weekend in the Monroe County Jail.
