The National Federation of Community Development Credit Unions will hold an intensive seminar on CU responses to high-cost payday lending. The seminar will include panels by and for practitioners, as well as researchers and policymakers interested in on-the-ground responses to a growing problem.
The seminar will be held at the St. Louis Hilton Airport Hotel, 1-6 p.m. on April 27. Registration is $75 for federation members and Community Development Partners, $135 for others. Limited scholarship assistance is available to small and low-income credit unions staying over for the NCUA PALs workshop in St. Louis on April 28, "New Markets, New Members, and New Business."
