DENVER – First Data Corp. yesterday announced it has agreed to acquire InComm, a marketer, distributor and technology developer for stored value and prepaid cards.
After completion of the deal, Brooks Smith, current president and CEO of InComm, will become the head of First Data’s Global Prepaid Services division.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
First Data is a unit of private equity giant Kohlberg, Kravis, Roberts & Co.
