SCHENECTADY, N.Y. First New York FCU, the one-time Schenectady Teachers credit union, named Lucy Halstead, senior vice president and chief operating officer, as president and CEO of the $260-million credit union.
Prior to joining First New York in 1998, Halstead was the vice president of marketing and branch administration for Ballston Spa National Bank.
During her tenure at First New York, the credit union said Halstead has been instrumental in supervising branch operations and the management team and continuously upgrading technological banking opportunities for the membership.
