BROOKFIELD, Wis. - (01/20/06) -- Fiserv said Thursday its InformationTechnology, Inc., unit has signed with VASCO Data SecurityInternational to offer its credit union and bank clients theDigipass one-time password token solution that requires a secondlevel of authentication. One-time password tokens are'connectionless' devices that provide an 'air gap' between thetoken and the network, eliminating the need for connection to ahosting device that may be infected. The Digipass product providesweb authentication, challenge-response and digital signatures toprovide enhanced security.
