Fiserv Wins Tech Award

BROOKFIELD, Wis.-A banking application designed for Facebook has taken home a retail award. Fiserv's MyMoney application received this year's The Banker magazine's Retail Award for Online Innovation. Sponsored by the magazine, the awards are presided over by a panel of industry experts, including practitioners and analysts.

Members at a number of credit unions can use MyMoney to view account balances, history and transfer funds right from their Facebook profile, with multiple layers of security protecting their data and accounts. Fiserv launched the app in February with the support of about 40 CUs; it is now being sold through all of Fiserv's credit union companies.
