The website will be developed by L9, a Vermont CUSO that is partially owned by New England FCU.

The new credit union, which will serve the 1.2 million members of the National Association of Realtors, is scheduled to open for business as a "virtual" credit union in mid-2009 with only a web presence and no physical branches.

American Technology Services is based in the Washington, D.C., suburb of Fairfax, Va.
