TAMPA, Fla. Fast-growing Grow Financial FCU announced today it is opening its first out-of-state branch this fall in Columbia, S.C., the first of 15 branches the $1.9 billion credit union plans for South Carolina.

The new branch will be Sandhill Lifestyle Center next to Starbucks and will display a modern retail design encompassing 2,400 square feet featuring a contemporary color scheme.
The one-time MacDill Air Force Base employees’ credit union operates 21 Florida branches and plans to open 15 branches throughout South Carolina, targeting Columbia, Greenville and Charleston.
Grow Financial has opened two new branches in Florida so far this year and plans another Florida branch, as well as the South Carolina facility by year-end.
