BOSTON – Two suspects were arrested yesterday in connection with Wednesday’s armed robbery of $200,000 from Tremont CU after police found $100,000 of the stolen loot in a nearby home they were called to because of a domestic disturbance.

The two are believed to be the ones who entered the credit union in the neighborhood of Dorchester, located inside the Boston Teachers Union headquarters, and left a bag on the teller counter they said had a bomb in it.
The suspects were identified as Kevin Clemente, 23, and Derrick Rogers, 25, both of Boston. They are being charged with armed robbery.
Police are downplaying a possible connection with another armed robbery at a nearby Bank of America branch soon after the credit union heist.
