Former CU Exec Arrested For Fraud

BARSTOW, Calif. – The former CEO of Barstow Railway Employee CU was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of fraud and filing false accounting records.

Gina Samorajski, 53, of Helendale was booked into jail without bail, according to police records.

Officers of the credit union reported finding discrepancies in financial records. Barstow police began an investigation in May 2009.

Police seized financial records and documents from Samorajski's home. Officers did not reveal how much money was missing from credit union accounts.
